Electric Braking Requirements
- This trailer requires an electric braking unit installed in the vehicle to operate. If you do not have this, you will need to have it installed by an auto electrician.
- The electric trailer brakes are powered by an onboard battery. To ensure your battery remains charged, you will need to ensure your vehicle plug has constant 12v power to pin #2 on your flat trailer plug. If you don’t have this, you will need to ask an auto electrician to run this power from your vehicle battery to your trailer plug.

If your customers do not have an electric braking unit in their vehicle, the brakes will not work. In this case, we recommend purchasing a portable electric braking unit to ensure the trailer brakes are powered up and functional.

Trailer Registration
- When purchasing this trailer, you will need to register it in your own name in your own state. These trailers will be registered as NEW IMPORTED trailers and you will need the import approval documents to take with you to complete the registration process with the transport department. You will find the import approvals by searching for Trailer Import Approvals on the Diggermate Knowledge Base.
